Personalising a piece can say so much, whether it’s a favourite phrase, a cherished motto, or the name of a meaningful place. It might be words you never had the chance to say, an important date, or even an image that holds special significance. There are many meaningful ways to make a piece truly your own.

We also offer engraving directly into the wood, creating a beautifully natural and lasting message. Each engraving is carefully routed into the timber, and hand-finished to ensure clarity and depth. This approach works especially well on wider rails or backrests and becomes an integral part of the bench’s character over time.

Our plaques are available in a range of premium materials, including heavy-duty bronze (ideal for oak), engravers brass, stainless steel, and plastic—which offers the advantage of being non-tarnishing.

Every plaque is neatly rebated into the rail, then both bonded and screwed for added security. If you require a larger plaque, we can accommodate this by designing your bench with a wider top rail, or by mounting the plaque into the backrest using a larger upright section of your chosen timber.
