15-Year Guarantee for Your Peace of Mind

We are proud to offer a 15-year guarantee on all our British handmade garden furniture. It reflects the confidence we have in the quality of our materials, craftsmanship, and construction techniques.

Every piece is made using the finest timbers—carefully seasoned and stored—crafted with traditional joinery methods, marine-grade fixings, and time-proven adhesives. This commitment to excellence allows us to create outdoor furniture that’s built to last.

Should your furniture develop a manufacturing fault within 15 years of purchase, we will collect and either repair or replace it at no cost to you.

What’s Covered

This guarantee covers:

  • Structural Integrity: Faults in the construction of frames, joints, or components that affect the strength, stability, or function of your furniture.

  • Manufacturing Defects: Failures resulting from defective materials or craftsmanship, including problems arising from poor assembly, incorrect fittings, or joinery faults.

  • Workmanship Standards: Any issue that can be traced back to how your furniture was made, rather than how it has been used or maintained.

What’s Not Covered

Because wood is a natural material, some variation and movement is to be expected. Our guarantee does not cover:

  • Cracks, splits, or warping caused by improper storage or use (e.g. leaving furniture in standing water or using covers that trap moisture).

  • Damage caused by neglect, misuse, unauthorised alterations, or improper handling during relocation (such as moving house), unless the furniture has been moved with reasonable care.

  • General wear and tear, weathering, or natural ageing of timber (see Our Woods for more on timber characteristics).

  • Minor cosmetic changes such as fading, small surface cracks, or slight movement in the timber that do not affect the structure or usability of the furniture.

To help your furniture age gracefully, we recommend following our Care Guide for simple seasonal maintenance.

A Simple Policy, Built on Trust

We believe good furniture should last, and our guarantee is designed to give you confidence from day one. If you ever have a concern, just get in touch and we’ll do our best to make it right.
